There are a few ways that Finland can be entered via road borders from Sweden and Norway, with routes passing through the Arctic Circle. Most ‘road’ routes into the country are actually via ferry services from surrounding countries. There are coach services available from a number of European cities, including from London. A standard pink EU driving license is the required driving documentation. If a photo licence is not held, an International Driving Permit must be obtained.
