Finland’s national airline Finnair offer flights from a number of British airports to destinations in Finland. Flights are usually above the £300 mark, but services are available from BA starting at £111 one way. There are countless other operators offering services to the country, including Air Canada, Air France, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, IBERIA, IcelandAir, KLM, Lufthansa, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, SWISS and United Airlines.

Flights from London to Helsinki take approximately two hours and fifty five minutes, and Helsinki’s international airport offers everything that would be expected including bus, coach and taxi services into the city – some operating 24 hours a day. Also offered is car hire, restaurants, bars, shops and a bureau de change. The same kind of facilities are to be expected of Finland’s other international airports.
